Donald L. Stanford
GTECH chief technology officer wins national engineer award

GTECH Corporation has announced that Donald L. Stanford, chief technology officer and vice president of product development, has been selected the winner of the professional achievement award by the 1999 Black Engineer of the Year Awards Selection Committee.

Each year this award is given to the candidate whose qualifications place him or her in the top ranks of the nation’s technology achievers. As the eighth founding member of GTECH, he has been instrumental in every technological advancement, beginning with the creation of the first dedicated lottery terminal in the world. Complimenting his professional achievements, Stanford was commended for his dedication to community service and diversity. As a board member of the Greater Providence YMCA and Times2, he has played a key role in their development. Specifically he has helped the YMCA open a family technology center, and has helped Times2 open a charter school and win a Presidential Award for Excellence in Science, Mathematics, and Engineering Mentoring.

Perry Haysworth, Jr.
Haynsworth appointed to position at Data Dimensions

Perry B. Haynsworth, Jr. of East Greenwich has been appointed senior consultant in the Eastern regional office of Data Dimensions, Inc., and has been assigned to the Year 2000 Program office of an unnamed Rhode Island client corporation.

Since 1997, Haynsworth had been principal of Grand View Technologies, a systems project management, data analysis, and Y2K readiness consulting firm. Previously, he was marketing systems project manager at Fleet Bank.

Data Dimensions, Inc., organized in 1968, provides Enterprise Integration Solutions to companies committed to aligning their Information Technology infrastructure and business strategies.

Albert D. Indelicato
Amtrol announces new chief
Albert D. Indelicato has been appointed president, chief executive officer and director at Amtrol, Inc. With over 25 years of extensive industry experience, Indelicato had demonstrated leadership and management skills in his previous positions which included CEO and director of Power Control Technologies, a manufacturer of high reliability flight control systems for the commercial and military aerospace markets. He has also served as president and COO of Abex Inc., a leading international firm in the automotive, aerospace, and airport equipment industries.
